The university conducts an Entrance examination to admit students in its different courses. One can apply for the same through online/offline mode but the application fee can be made through offline bank challan. Candidates who are eligible for UG course admissions must have passed Class XII from a recognized board in relevant subjects and for PG course admissions they must have passed their graduation in relevant subject areas from a recognized university/institute.
For the diploma courses, minimum qualification is 10th pass and for the certificate, there is no such minimum qualification but the minimum age requirement is 16 years and the candidate must have the ability to read and write Kannada.
Being music and performing arts university, it offers a number of facilities to the students as well as faculty members to cater to their needs. Some of the facilities are Hostel, Laboratories, Library, Cafeteria, Sports playground and many more.
