Durg University offers Ph.D. programs in 17 different specializations. The duration of the course is for 3 years. The candidates would be required to hold a postgraduate degree to pass the eligibility for the course.

Durg University Ph.D Scholasrship
- Scholarships are provided to the permanent residents of Chhattisgarh State by the Government.
- Post matric scholarship is available by the Chhattisgarh government to the students who secured 50% marks in their previous qualifying examination.
- Scholarships are also provided to the reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC etc. All these categories are eligible to apply for the same.
- Economically weaker sections of the society are also benefited due to the scholarship scheme. Students whose family income is not more than INR 1 Lakh per annum from all the sources shall be eligible to apply online for the post-matric scholarship.
