Central University of Andhra Pradesh (CUAP) offers a number of Undergraduate courses along with one PG course. Courses like BA, B.Sc and B.Vocational programmes, along with MA at PG level along with different specializations.
The admissions to all the courses are offered on the basis of the entrance exam. Applications for entrance and admission are available online.
- BA, B.Sc, B.Voc and MA admissions are based on scores in CUET conducted by the NTA.
- For UG programs students must have passed 10+2 exams or equivalent to apply for CUET.
- While, PG aspirants must have qualified for bachelor’s degree to be eligible to apply.
- All the courses can be applied for at the University campus or through the Official Website of the University.
- All the applicants are required to clear CUET with a valid score.
CUAP was established in the year 2019 in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. It is the 47th Central University established by MHRD, Government of India.
To encourage higher studies in the largest district of Anantapur, CUAP was set up. More and more faculty members are being offered employment for a smooth functioning of the University.

CUAP Application 2023
For applying to any course at CUAP, the candidate may visit the campus to acquire the Application Form. To apply, the candidates must follow the steps mentioned below :
- Visit the campus or the website of the college to find the Application Form
- Fill in the Application Form with all the required academic details and personal information.
- Submit the filled in Application Form along with the required Documents and Certificates to the college. Candidates are also required to pay the stipulated Fee.
- Online applicants can pay the fee online and submit the receipt of the payment at the time of admission.
- Applicants who have passed the CUET examination will be contacted by the university for counselling.

Ques. What is the process for applying for an MA course?
Ans. To apply for an MA course, the candidates have to fill the application form available on the website or campus and submit the form along with the required documents, certificates and fees.
Ques. What is the CUET pattern?
Ans. Students must appear for the CUET exam which is conducted offline and is in the MCQ format. The paper is divided into Part A & B which are mandatory to be attempted. Other details are as follows:
- Part A (25 MCQs): General Awareness
- Part B (35 MCQs): Teaching Aptitude
- Part C (40 MCQs): It is further divided into four sub-sections. Candidates have to attempt any one section as per the eligibility. They are: Social Sciences, Language, Physical Science and Mathematics; Life Sciences
