Designing, building and securing network infrastructure?are the types of technical quests that stir the passion of students in the Computer Networking & Cybersecurity major.
In today's interconnected world, the?implementation and maintenance of?network?infrastructure and protection of digital information are becoming a priority?for organizations.?The fields of networking, systems administration and security are also becoming more complex as societies, industries and government agencies come to rely on digital networks, systems and technology in everyday operations.
In this 15-credit specialization, students use hands-on lab opportunities to gain proficiency in:
- systems administration functions
- networks and network services configurations
- security from desktop to enterprise
- LAN and WAN technology and protocols
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should submit official transcripts of all secondary coursework completed
- Official transcripts need to be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submit two letters of recommendation out of which one should be from school counselor and other should be from a person who can assess you potential
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 105
- PTE: minimum 58
