Unlike many other colleges, Dickinson offers a minor in Italian and a recently updated major in Italian studies, which provides students with a strong command of Italian language and culture, yet also allows students to take interdisciplinary courses concerning Italy and Italian taught by other departments in English. This opportunity has allowed many students to consider Italian studies as their second major or Italian as a second minor.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and all previous education completed
- Submit academic recommendation letter translated into English
- Submit school official recommendation letter from a guidance counselor, adviser or prinicpal
- SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 90 in iBT;
- IELTS: minimum 7.0
- Duolingo: minimum 115
- PTE: minimum 62
