Campus

Goldey-Beacom College is situated on a 24-acre piece of property located at 4701 Limestone Road in a serene and beautiful Pike Creek Valley, a suburb of Wilmington, Delaware. With close proximity to major cities like Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, and other major east coast cities; the school has easy access to many fortunes 500 companies and international establishments necessary to give the students the needed exposure and resources.

Residence

Goldey-Beacom College allows students to live on-campus or off-campus depending on the students’ preference. However, the on-campus residence is based on certain eligibility status which a student should attain coupled with the compliance to certain rules and regulations governing life on campus.

To be eligible for on-campus residency, a student is required to maintain satisfactory academic standards defined by the college. Any student whose performance at the end of the academic year is below the accepted standard will not be permitted to reside on campus in the subsequent year. Some of the residential halls at the college are:

All the halls are equipped with apartment-style living with 2 rooms bedrooms, a large living room, a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a dining area. Students can look for off-campus housing to study in the US.

Admission Process

Goldey-Beacom College is a hub for international students as over 15% of the student’s population are foreign students from over 60 nations of the world. How To Apply: Online application portal

Requirements: The requirements for undergraduate students are:

  1. A completed online application
  2. An official copy of secondary school transcripts and/or diploma with final exams or course grades translated into English
  3. Proof of English language proficiency in the form of an official copy of TOEFL or IELTS with a minimum score of 60 and 5.5 respectively.
  4. Bank statement and affidavit of support which indicates a source of funding or financial support to cover the cost of attendance and other living expenses for up to a period of one year.

For international graduate students who wish to apply for admission, the following requirements must be submitted:

  1. A completed online application
  2. An official copy of transcripts/statement of marks /academic records detailing all university-level work and the diploma or degree certificate translated into English.
  3. An official copy of the English language test score. Maybe TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo or any other standardized proof of English proficiency test. A minimum test score of 75, 6.5 and 110 is required for TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo respectively.
  4. Statement of financial support /capability from a financial institution indicating sufficient fund to cover the cost of attendance of the entire academic program
  5. Current Resume

Financial Aid

As a school renowned for easy access by foreign students, lack of funds for attendance is never a reason for not enrolling at Goldey-Beacom College. International students are eligible for a plethora of scholarships and financial aids up to a range of 3,000 USD - 6,000 USD per year for undergraduate and 225 USD per credit hour for graduates. They can also apply for external scholarships available for students to study in the USA.

Prospective students are not required to submit any special requests for consideration as information provided during the application process is used as determinants for scholarship eligibility.

Eligibility of scholarship for international undergraduate students is determined primarily by previous academic performance and standardized test scores (SAT, ACT, TOEFL or IELTS) while graduate scholarship is determined only by the prospective students’ previous performance.

Goldey-Beacom College has an open policy concerning work while studying. The career service office provides employment assistance to students and other assistance including providing opportunities for students and employers, help with cover letters, resumes interview techniques, etc.
