No audition is required to enter the department, and while we offer a course of study for both?music majors and minors, all students at Colorado College are eligible to attend our classes and sign-up for our ensembles. In fact, many of the 350 students who are active in the department do so only for their own pleasure.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Submit a letter of recommendation from counselor
- Submit two teacher evaluations from teacher of junior academic year in subjects like English, Maths, Social Science, Science, foreign language
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Applicants may submit a portfolio of their work
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 100 in ibt;
- IELTS: minimum 7.0
- PTE: minimum 68
