At Denison University Campus, all buildings are within walking distance. Wi-Fi is available in all residential halls as well as academic buildings. There are more than 160 clubs & students organizations, over 40 clubs, an arts organization, media organization, service organization, etc on campus at Denison University.

  • Denison's Greek system, which includes roughly 21 fraternities and sororities, is home to over 34% of students.
  • Denison’s Alford Community Leadership & Involvement Center is committed to improve and enhance the leadership qualities of its members/students through four types of leadership programs.
  • Denison University has multicultural and cross-cultural communities, religious organizations, and also culturally-based fraternities and sororities.

Denison University Residence

99% of students live on-campus at Denison University. It offers different types of housing options for its students to cater to their needs. These include Residence Halls, Apartments, and a Homestead which is a student-run living community.

  • Traditional Residence Halls are for first-year students. These halls have double, triple, and also quad occupancy rooms. Rooms are single-gendered and coeducational by floor/section. Students living in these halls share a community bathroom.
  • There are also a limited number of single rooms located in Traditional Halls usually occupied by upperclassmen.
  • Suites are occupied by juniors and seniors. It has 2 or more multiple occupancy bedrooms with a shared common space and a single bathroom.
  • Apartment Units are designated as all-male or all-female. They have 2 or more single rooms, and also multiple occupancy rooms with a single bathroom, kitchen and locked entry door.
  • Stone Apartments are for 3 or 5 people and have 1 or 2 multiple-occupancy bedrooms with shared bathroom & kitchen. It is mostly for senior students.
  • Senior Co-ed Apartments are exclusively for seniors. It has 4 private single bedrooms and 2 private bathrooms with a shared, common living space, and kitchen. These rooms can be occupied by students of any gender. Seniors can also consider opting for off-campus student housing in US.
  • The Homestead is an alternative living community managed by students to improve ecological sustainability. It is only available to upperclassmen.

Financial Aid

  • Denison Grant – Financial assistance is provided to all enrolled students of Denison University. Only Full-time students (12+ hours) are eligible for this grant. The amount of assistance varies annually.
  • Bookstore Grant – This grant helps students to reduce the books and supplies of the students. The determined amount is transferred electronically to the student’s account every semester. Generally, it is lower than the actual cost of books & supplies.

Work while you Study 

On-Campus job - International students are allowed to work on-campus. After enrolment, students can apply for a job through the current employment listing on MyDenison. Students manage all aspects of their student work experience including researching opportunities, applying for jobs and interviewing.

Work-Study Program – It is a need-based work award to meet the financial need of Denison Students. They can earn 2,500 USD per year under this award. Students can work part-time on-campus as well as off-campus after enrolling in Denison University. Job is generally course-related or civic education-based. Work performed or employment must be public-interest centered.

Davis Summer Work Program - Available to Denison students during the summer. Students can work 40 hours per week for a total of 14 weeks under this program.
