Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Financial Mathematics] From Baruch College

?As this program includes courses in Economics and Finance, students who would usually not consider a traditional mathematics major will find this program especially attractive. Interested students are urged to contact the Department of Mathematics as early as possible.? The student will be assigned an advisor who will aid in formulating an appropriate course of study.

The major in mathematics can include a wide range of courses geared to your interests. Both our Actuarial Science and BSFM majors include courses in the Zicklin School of Business along with a strong mathematics curriculum. We encourage you to consider these majors and to visit and talk with our mathematics advisors, or any member of our department concerning these majors.? Students majoring in other disciplines may choose to minor in mathematics; a wide range of courses is available, often chosen to complement the major.
