The master of arts in interdisciplinary computer science enables students from liberal arts backgrounds to gain a solid foundation in computer science and a unique perspective on how computers interact with other disciplines. You?ll discover the strengths and limitations of computers and what technological advances are needed to solve theoretical problems in a variety of fields. You?ll also be at the forefront of examining the relationship between computers and other disciplines?including art, biology, business, education, health, music, and psychology?and the dynamic ways in which these disciplines intersect with technology. Students can enter our master?s degree program either after earning their bachelor?s degree at another institution or by entering the Mills?bachelor?s-to-master?s accelerated degree program in computer science.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants to the Interdisciplinary Computer Science Master’s Program must have a bachelor's degree in a field other than computer science, the equivalent of one year of discrete mathematics and one year of computer programming in Java or C++
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Applicants to the Interdisciplinary Computer Science Master’s Program must have a bachelor's degree in a field other than computer science, the equivalent of one year of discrete mathematics and one year of computer programming in Java or C++
