Founded in 1847, Earlham College, Richmond, is a private non-profit liberal arts institution located in Indiana, USA. Earlham College Campus

The college has an 800-acre campus full of natural resources, old fields, and prairies used for scientific research and recreation.

  • The campus also has a fitness center, sports facilities, and Bethany theological seminary.
  • On-campus housing and dining facilities are also provided for candidates at the university campus.
  • A few key attractions in The Earlham campus include –
    • The Lilly Library: Constructed in 1962, it was named after Eli Lilly and J.K. Lilly is the central facility for a library, media, and IT resources. It has 61,000 square feet of space on three levels with different sets of study environment: group study rooms, lounge chairs, and couches, individual carrels and tables.
    • Joseph Moore Museum: It provides Earlham students with an opportunity to learn about nature, the ancient world, and its people. It has a vast collection of anthropology, mammalogy, herpetology, etc.
    • Athletics and Wellness Center: It provides different programs including group fitness classes, yoga, water fitness, massage, fitness assessments, and personal training. Different workshops are also conducted throughout the year on topics including stress management, nutrition, alcohol and substance education, tobacco cessation, and bystander intervention.
    • Darrell Beane Stadium: Established in 2007, the stadium is home to football, hockey and track teams with a seating capacity of 2,000 and 6,500 square-feet building for locker rooms, training rooms, storage, and restrooms.
    • Runyan Center: The center is known to organize student gathering and organizational meetings. It has a Leeds Gallery that is known for displaying all sorts of art, coffee shops, a computer station, and lounge settings.

Earlham College Accommodation 

  • The college has eight traditional housing providing residence halls namely, Barrett Hall, Bundy Hall, Earlham Hall, Hoerner Hall, Mills Hall, Olvey-Andis Hall, Warren Hall, and Wilson Hall
  • The college also has theme houses wherein the Blue shutter is an LGBT house having 7 beds, Cunningham Cultural Center is African/African American Cultural Center with 3 beds, Foster House is with Outdoor Education theme having 9 beds, Fry House with Sustainable Agriculture theme has 10 beds, The environmental theme house 417 College Ave.has 5 beds, Garner House, the Mindfulness House also has 5 beds, Hobbs House with Deutsches Haus theme has 4 beds.
  • The college has four friendship theme accommodations and Campus village apartments also.
  • Campus Village Apartments: This housing program consists of 44 apartments in one-, two-, and three-bedroom settings on the south side of campus near. It provides an opportunity for the student to experience independent living within the campus.
  • All the accommodations have basic furniture and fixtures, wireless internet, TV connections, common kitchen and laundry facilities, lounges, and other facilities.
  • All these housing facilities are equipped with basic and comfort amenities including fitness center Laundry rooms, study rooms, etc.
  • The annual rentals and meals vary from approximately 11,350 USD to 15,500 USD depending on the type of accommodation and the meal plans opted by the students.

  • The College offers a range of courses for international students including undergraduate programs in over 40 areas and a limited number of master's programs mainly confined to Education and Theology.
  • There are several programs offered by the institute such as 33 majors, 36 minors, 17 integrated pathways, and 3+1 year programs for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.
  • The undergraduate programs have main areas of study that include Ethnic, cultural and Gender studies, Biology and biomedical; sciences, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing Management, Communication, Linguistics, Social science, Visual and Performing Arts.
