I liked the way the course was structured. It was more practical and that's what I wanted.
Course Curriculum
Asu Se is fully practical and you will end up learning a lot of industry best practices and you will work on numerous projects. As far as I remember each and every course had a group project. I am not sure how it is right now, as most of the best profs left by the time I graduated. Not updated with the current teaching standards
Exams
My scores are GRE 310 AWA 4 Toefl 100 Don’t exactly remember my verbal and quants score.
Placement
You need to search for jobs outside. University will not help in that. They do have career fairs every semester, but usually they won’t accept any applications. It’s just that you can talk to them about company, clarify questions etc etc
Internship
Asu technical office - I did my Parttime there for a year Amazon - sde currently
Events
Asu is pretty fun. Great campus. Lot many Indians and also you will get to meet and work with people from all around the world. Mostly for Cs related course it’s hard to find diversity
Fees
I was given 2 deficiency courses and I ended up paying 60000$ Just as tuition fee. Living and all other expenses are not included. Lucky I had Parttime job from 2nd semester to final which was pretty enough to cover my living expenses
Scholarship
