Pritesh Choksi Review at San Diego State University [SDSU], San Diego | Collegedunia

SDSU

Because of the coursework and location. The college also had a limited strength in CS so that the professor can focus on individuals

Course Curriculum :

The coursework is good. Overall it is subjective and depends on the person taking the course

Exams :

This year and past year GRE was waived-off. There is a Toefl requirement. When GRE was a requirement, there was a hard cut-off of 304 with a quant score of around 157-159 and a toefl score of 80+

Placement :

Almost everyone in CS gets placed. In US there is no oncampus concept. All you have to do is apply online and through network.

Internship :

I am still in 1st sem and will apply for internships

Fees :

18K per year. In one sem we have to take 9 units

Scholarship :

No

Faculty :

Roger Whitney is an amazing professor. Assignments are tough but worth taking as there is lot of learning involved in it.

Campus Life :

The campus life is pretty amazing and SDSU has great events for socializing

Hostel :

I stay off-campus and cost is also affordable
