I chose to attend Purdue for the reputation and networking opportunities it has. Although the location is not the best, it still has a great big-campus feel and the small college town is comfortable as well.
Course Curriculum
My opinion on the course curriculum is that it is complicated to a point where you are challenged but also at the level where it can be understood and the students can succeed in their coursework. You don't want it to be too easy or too hard, and I think Purdue has found their happy medium.
Fees
The fees are pretty straightforward for each college and the university as a whole. I think they do a good job of estimating personal expenses and keeping the tuition low enough to not be absurd.
Examination Structure
The exam structure is mostly multiple-choice but written responses do show up on assessments from time to time. As stated with the course curriculum, I think that the exams are hard enough to challenge you but on a level where you can succeed.
Faculty
I appreciate the availability of the professors and advisors and their willingness to help you succeed in your college career. All of the faculty is very supportive of and friendly to their students which makes the experience so much better!
