In addition, geomatics engineering can involve work in land development, construction surveying, forensic surveying, hydrographic surveying and spatial data analysis.There are a wide variety of jobs available to a geomatics engineer in design, development and operation of systems for mapping information about the land, the oceans, our natural resources and manmade features.Students in this program can collaborate with other engineering and geoscience disciplines. The program provides a unique environment to prepare students for the Principles and Practice of Land Surveying (PS) and the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exams that lead to professional licensing. This degree not only prepares students for the future, but it prepares them to design the future.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Official transcripts must contain course by course list of subjects and grades completed in high school, overall GPA and separately calculated Maths GPA
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by NACES accredited agency
- Submit official test scores of SAT/ACT
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- CAEL: minimum score of 180
- PTE: minimum score of 55
- Duolingo: minimum score of 105
