Academic Eligibility: 

  • Applicants to master’s degree and graduate certificate programs must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (or the international equivalent) prior to enrollment.
  • Students required an average grade of 3.0. (83 to 86% or B grade)

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • Students required a Higher Secondary Certificate/ISC (State board exams may also be considered for admission) and a four-year bachelor’s degree.

Every MSMFT student completes the career management course, MF 610:  Mathematical Finance Career Management. This course:

  • Develops sound networking and job search strategies
  • Prepares you for 'quant' interviews
  • Develops good career management habits
  • Introduces you to practicing industry experts via the Visiting Speaker Series
  • Informs you of important developments in financial markets and issues of the day that affect the global financial services industry

In addition to MF 610, you will work with career counselors in our Master's and PhD Center and the Executive Director of the MSMFT program to explore career options and to further refine your career management strategy.
