Applicants must submit the online application and all required admission materials no later than the stated deadlines to be considered for admission. Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis.
This specialization is designed to prepare nurses with the specialized skills needed to care for at-risk children living in urban settings, across the continuum of care. For nearly two decades, their pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) program has prepared primary care PNPs to provide community-based, culturally sensitive primary care. More recently, building on our foundation in evidence-based, interdisciplinary, urban healthcare, we expanded the PNP program into acute care. We are the only graduate nursing program in New England to prepare acute-care PNPs.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor's degree in a related field or its equivalent to get admission in this program.
- Students required a minimum GPA of 3.6.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
