Campus 

• University's campus is located in Lowell, Massachusetts, which is nearly 25 miles northwest of Boston.
• It has the second-largest campus in the University system campuses located in North, South and East clusters.
• Its state-of-the-art urban campus is spread in an area of 125 acres and is located near the Merrimack River.
• The campus has smart classrooms, top-notch arts, athletics, and recreation centers.
• It is organized in six schools and colleges, namely the College of Fine arts, Manning School of Business, Francis College of Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences College, Kennedy College of Sciences, Zuckerberg college of health sciences and the School of Education.
• It has more than 18,000 students in its six colleges.
• A total of 16 NCAA Division I Athletic Teams are on-campus.
• Its major attractions include the Mark and Elisia Saab Emerging Technology Center, University Crossing and the Health and Social Sciences Building.

Housing facilities/Residence

• The university provides many housing facilities for students living on campus. It has the following 4 main resident campuses: University Suites, Donahue Hall, River Hawk Village, and Riverview Suites West.
• Many sharing and privately-owned halls are available which include the Inn & Conference Center (ICC), Concordia Hall, Sheehy Hall, Riverview Suites East, Merrimack Apartments and Middlesex Apartments.
• The UMass Lowell Office of Residence Life works to facilitate housing for student scholars.
• The Bourgeois Hall and Leitch Hall are double and quad sharing halls.
• The Concordia Hall offers a single housing facility.
• Donahue Hall and Sheehy Halls are four-person, six-person or a maximum of eight-person suites.
• Fox Hall has doubles, triples and quads and has the largest dining hall on campus.
• River Hawk Village provides deluxe housing units with free laundry and full kitchen facilities.
• Riverview East and University Suites are four and six-person suites that have Campus Recreation and Tsongas center near them.

Each room is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, bureau, and closet/wardrobe. Suite style rooms also have couches, study tables and chairs, and semi-private bathrooms for students. All buildings are coed. All full-time or part-time students are eligible for student housing.

Courses

• The institute offers a plethora of courses for international students including over 100 majors and more than 50 different minors along with many certificates programs. It offers both full-time on-campus and part-time programs.
• It offers nearly 40 different programs online.
• It offers the institute's undergraduate majors that can be transited to master's programs.
• The popular undergraduate majors at UMass Lowell include American Studies, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Creative Writing, Criminal Justice, Dietetics and Forensic Science.
• Some courses at the university are interdisciplinary and some minors are specifically designed to pair with majors. Some of these are Legal Studies, Labour Studies, Management, Criminology, and Mathematics.
• The Manning School of Business offers UG, PG and doctoral programs in Finance, Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.
• UG students can major or minor in education at the College of Education in the areas of science, computer science, engineering, mathematics and more.
• The College of Fine Arts offers undergraduate and graduate programs through 11 departments & several interdisciplinary programs.
• The Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences offers programs and careers in health sciences, the popular programs run in the Public Health, Nursing and Kinesiology Department.

Alumni network

• UML Connect is the official alumni association at the University.
• It also helps the current UMass Lowell students get the right career advice and insight from Alumni.
• The UML connect and career resources portal is also provided for both alumni or students to search or submit job postings, join the industry, connect with classmates, and more.
• Various benefits are provided to alumni, such are libraries and job opportunities, Campus Recreation Center memberships, discounts on hotels, UMass Lowell bookstore, rental cars, exclusive UMass Club membership and UMass Lowell athletics.
