Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Music] From Slippery Rock University

Through the BA in Music program, you'll receive a well-rounded education with a strong balance between liberal arts and music. This program allows you free time for applications like applied study, and options for minor areas of interest and specialties within the field.

SRU's BA in Music program will give you the background to work in professions such as music performance, private music instruction, music business, arranging, production, composition, and music retail. This program will also give you a strong foundation for graduate work in fields such as music history, ethnomusicology, and music theory.

In the BA in Music program, you'll learn foundational elements of music such as:
