Placement
Every year there are 2 career fairs so it has maybe 100-plus companies. The placement process is just applying for a job just like you would for any other job. You don’t get special treatment. The median salary is like $50k
It was the only university that was pretty local to me and I could commute. I wasn’t comfortable boarding elsewhere.
I wanted to run in college so the coach let me on the team. Also, it's in-state so it's cheaper than most schools and I am close to home. I like the city that my school is in too so that I can live by the school after college.
Placement
The job opportunities are okay because there are very few things that you can do with a history degree. Education seems to be the only option for most to choose from. You have to look for jobs on your own to find the best.
Because it was in a big city, the tuition was affordable and the program was promising. I knew that I would be able to excel in this program because of how it was shaped. I wanted something that would feed my soul.
Placement
There will be a lot of job fairs in and around North Carolina and lot of companies have visited for other departments but with regards to the computer science, Bank of America, Wells Fargo have visited us for carrier fairs.
The professors and the subjects are really good and intuitive. Lot of research options and very good place. The CS program contains different subjects and offers good coursework.
