The first two years of the curriculum allow students to establish a solid foundation in mathematics and sciences. The third year curriculum introduces students to a broad spectrum of electrical engineering course work with specialization and capstone introduced in the fourth year. The senior year capstone course allows the student to consolidate their educational experience with the solution of practical engineering problems provided by industry.

Student outcomes (SOs) describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. Specifically, ABET EAC Criterion 3 specifies the following (minimal) required SOs:
