Students will be encouraged to expand their artistic and visual expression through clothing design.
They will work closely with faculty members, production teams, and DePaul’s Costume Shop to design costumes for multiple public productions by The Theatre School.
In the fourth year of the degree program, they will complete an internship in the costume industry to gain real-world experience. At the end of the fourth year, students will have the chance to take part in the annual Graduate Showcase, where they will present their designs to artistic directors and other members of the theatre, film, and television industries.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
