I opted here to join the Deep Orange program. It is one-of-a-kind. The admission process is standard: GRE and TOEFL with your latest Curriculum Vitae, transcripts, letters of recommendation (4, min 3) and statement of purpose.
- Clemson’s Master’s in Automotive Engineering blends intense technical study and strong science-based skill-building with an emphasis on leadership and other business acumen needed to thrive in an ever evolving global economy.
- The M.S. curriculum is designed as a two-year, post-B.S. degree program providing top-notch talent to the automotive industry and advanced engineering companies.
- Students complete graduate coursework equivalent to 36 credit hours and a six-month internship (six credit hours) either in industry or on the Deep Orange vehicle prototyping project.
- Classes take place at Clemson’s state-of-the-art engineering facilities at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville, South Carolina.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied sciences, or math.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale to be eligible for the program.
- While not required, two years of post-BS, industry experience is a plus point.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
