- Master of Science in Finance at Texas A&M University is a 10 months program.
- This is a 36-hour, non-thesis, on-campus degree program offered on a full-time basis.
- Twenty-four credit hours of required courses are completed during the fall and spring semesters.
- This includes a 6-hour practicum spread over the August Boot Camp and fall semester. For the remaining 12 credit hours, students are required to take one Business Strategy elective, one Analytics elective, and two Advanced Finance electives.
- The program prepares non-finance undergraduate students for finance-related careers in corporate/government, consulting/professional services, and financial services.
- The program is specifically designed for STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) and economics majors.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor’s degree in business from a recognized institution.
- Candidates with a non-business bachelor’s degree can also be eligible to apply.
- A GPA of 3.5 is required on a 4.0 scale.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree from a recognized institution
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
