Stetson University has a unique combination of classes in music composition and theory that are not available at any other university in the country. These classes expose students to a wide array of contemporary music almost every semester, encouraging students to analyze, create and perform new music. Study for the music composition degree culminates with a 25-minute recital of original compositions performed in concert.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Official transcripts have to be evaluated course by course by an evaluation agency like WES, SpanTran
- Submit a writing sample on any one topic provided
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in ibt;
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
