The undergraduate program trains students to apply engineering techniques to the analysis of biological systems, providing full integration of biology and engineering.

Our curriculum provides students with the core biomedical engineering fundamentals. Beyond the core, students take 4 electives that provide depth in a particular area or breadth across biomedical engineering. Students wishing more depth could focus on:

  • Biomechanics and Rehabilitation
  • Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine
  • Imaging and Biophotonics

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility: 

  • Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
  • Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
  • Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.

The Documents required are:

  • Statement of Purpose: An essay or other written statement written by the student.
  • Resume/CV: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
  • College Transcripts - The marks statement provided by the education board after completion of the previous academic qualifications.
  • Two confidential letters of recommendation: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics, and that references should submit along with the application system.
  • ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL,  or other scores.
