- Full-time students benefit from the Tax Program's well-rounded curriculum. Professors model their courses to teach students how to interpret and apply the tax law to hypothetical and actual cases. Students are heavily exposed to a multitude of resources surrounding tax law, which helps strengthen and refine their research techniques and prepares them for practicing tax in a law firm, accounting firm, large corporation, or governmental agency.
- Another major advantage of the full-time program is that professors get to know their students in a very short amount of time, particularly given the limited size of approximately 40 students in the full-time class.
- Full-time students also build strong relationships with one another both inside and outside of the classroom. They work on problem sets for class, study for exams, and prepare for interviews together, forming strong professional relationships that extend beyond the Tax Program.
- After nine months, students not only gain a firm understanding of federal, state, and international taxation, but they also learn how to analyze the tax law and communicate their specialized knowledge to other tax and business professionals.
