Through Fitchburg State?s Computer Science program, students can take advantage of one of the few programs in the country that combines hardware and software education. This dual-track program gives students the platform that they need to work in such areas as software design, network development, web design and computer hardware creation. All of these applications are supported by the knowledge gained by having a strong background in mathematics.
Students will have opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in analysis and design of business information systems, database development, software development, and networking. This program prepares the students for professional careers in the rapidly changing field of computer science.
