- The Department of Statistics at CSU consistently ranks in the top 50 statistics departments in the US. Colorado State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
- The goal of this degree is to enable students to start working as data scientists in business, industry, or government immediately after graduation. Students will receive a strong background in statistical and business computing while completing this degree.
- Full-time students complete the M.A.S. degree in less than a year and this degree may also be completed part-time, either online or on campus.
- Students who succeed in the field of data science typically have strong quantitative skills, analytical minds, and like to help other people solve problems.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.64 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
Students need to submit minimum GRE exam scores for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
