All admitted doctoral students receive a fellowship that covers the cost of tuition and health insurance, and provides a stipend.
Doctoral students typically engage in study and research within several departments or programs, including biomedical engineering, dentistry, gerontology, linguistics, medicine, psychology, and special education.
Coursework is designed to develop expertise in various aspects of research so that students can ultimately conduct independent and original research programs which add to the body of knowledge in basic and applied communicative disorders.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicants must have a cumulative undegraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Applicants should submit three letters of recommendation showing the potential to succeed in the program
- Submit a personal statement showing the motivation and skills applicable to graduate study and the profession
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
