Our program has a strong field component so that students can enjoy and learn from the diverse geological setting of the western slope of Colorado.?
We are also wellequipped for laboratory work, having petrographic microscopes, an x-ray diffractometer, and a local seismic network. You will also complete courses to prepare you for teacher licensure.?
These courses help you learn how students learn. Develop strategies using the topics in your content major to help your students advance their own learning in your classroom.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit an official transcript from the last high school or secondary school attended
- Official transcripts should be directly sent from the school of the applicant
- SAT/ACT score is optional
- Students not taking SAT or ACT test need to complete placement exams with university’s testing center
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 70 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum band 6
