Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from an institution accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC/ABET).
- Other students having adequate mathematical preparation with bachelor’s degrees in non-ECE fields may be admitted on a conditional basis.
- Students must complete 18-27 undergraduate credits in the ECE field with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or better before being considered for full admission to the program.
- Graduates of non-engineering fields may be admitted to the MSE degree program after completing undergraduate math and ECE courses as determined by the ECE Department.
- A GPA of 3.0 is required on a 4.0 scale.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year bachelors degree from a recognized institution
- Or, completed a 3-year UG degree from an accredited institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
Submission of GRE score is not required.
