Bachelor of Science [B.S] (Human Development and Family Studies with Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Certification)

Students may also choose to take courses to prepare them for the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Certificate (formerly American Humanics) which prepares students to manage nonprofit organizations. All entering students must declare as a Pre-HDFS major and will work with an academic advisor to follow an informational plan leading to successful completion of program requirements. Following successful completion of pre-major requirements, students with a 2.0 cumulative UH GPA may declare a major in Human Development and Family Studies.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and secondary school
- Minimum GPA required is of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
- Students should have a minimum of 15 credits coursework from an accredited university
- Submit SAT/ACT scores
- The average ACT/SAT score of student is around 1310 and 28 respectively.
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 79 required
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 required
- Duolingo: minimum 105 required
