Bachelor of Science [B.S] [Teaching and Learning] From University of Houston

• academic foundations,
• pre-professional development courses
• specific B.S. Coordinating Board requirements for mathematics and science, and
• the Student Teaching Sequence.

All entering students must declare as a Pre-Teaching and Learning major and will work with an academic advisor to follow an informational plan leading to successful completion of program requirements. Following successful completion of pre-major requirements, students with a 2.5 cumulative UH GPA may declare a major in Teaching and Learning.Students being re-admitted to the Teaching and Learning major must:

• be placed on a contract in which they are required to obtain the cumulative GPA required for admission to the major (2.5) within 2 long terms of entry into the College, and

• complete at least two courses in major each of these first two semesters and have their course enrollments approved by academic advisors.
