You can also gain hands-on experience through internship opportunities, the Student Managed Investment Portfolio, Bloomberg certification, and CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) competitions.
MONEY MATTERS: THE CAREER OPTIONS ARE ENDLESSThe Bachelor of Science degree in Finance prepares you to pursue job opportunities in the areas of corporate and personal financial management, banking, insurance, investments, and other financial institutions.
You may pursue a career as a financial planner; a broker of stocks, bonds, and commodities; an insurance agent; a wealth management, investment, or credit officer; a real estate agent; or a project manager. You may also seek employment with the federal government at, for example, the FDIC, Federal Reserve, Treasury Department, or Internal Revenue Service.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency like WES, ECE or another member of NACES
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in ibt; 500 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
- Duolingo: minimum 90
- PTE: minimum 46
