As a criminology major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, you'll take five required criminology courses and choose two courses from each of three areas:
- The Criminal Justice System
- Critical Issues in Criminology
- Diversity Issues in Criminology
Some of the classes offered are: Policing and the Community, Juvenile Justice and Juvenile Law, White-Collar Crime, Violence and Victimology, Women and Crime, and Environmental Crime. Criminology majors can also choose to take an internship.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency like WES, ECE or another member of NACES
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in ibt; 500 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
- Duolingo: minimum 90
- PTE: minimum 46
