In order to better prepare students for the future, today?s schools need teachers who are trained in nurturing and developing the reading habits of our students from elementary school through high school. Southeastern?s Master of Education in Reading Education program equips you to do just that. Courses in this 36-credit hour program are offered in an eight-week online delivery format. Although the program is in-depth and rigorous, the flexibility of the online format allows you to schedule your studies around your life, enabling you to still maintain your current career and family life.

Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Applicant must have three years of experience as educator or must submit GRE score
- Submit an 2-3 page essay describing why you want to join the university

- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 79 in iBT; 8.5+ in Essentials
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
