In addition to the newest, most innovative methods, you?ll also learn time-tested principles for teaching material in all subject areas. Not only this, you?ll learn about the development of children, how to nurture the unique gifts your students possess, how to create curriculum and much more. At the culmination of this 36-credit hour online program, you will choose one of four projects to conclude your training: a portfolio for the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, curriculum creation project, action research project or master?s thesis.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Applicant must have three years of experience as educator or must submit GRE score
- Submit an 2-3 page essay describing why you want to join the university

English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 79 in iBT; 8.5+ in Essentials
