The Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry

is offered for premedical and predental students, secondary teachers and others.

  • received a C or better grade in College Algebra, its equivalent, or more advanced course,
  • Aptitude and dedication can be also demonstrated by presenting exceptional science and mathematics preparation in high school.
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry

prepares students for careers as professional chemists and serves as a foundation for careers in other fields such as biology and medicine. The curriculum offers a thorough fundamental knowledge of the major fields of chemistry, covering the general areas of inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. Undergraduates are encouraged to take full advantage of the scientific opportunities available in the department by joining a research group.


Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Submit official secondary school transcripts with both original and English translations
  • Transcripts must be stamped or embossed by the issuing institution to confirm that they are original
  • Submit a certificate or diploma confirming graduation from secondary institution
  • Applicant should have completed following courses in secondary school: Studies of native language; English, Mathematics, social science, physical science/ natural science
  • Applicants should submit SAT/ACT scores
  • Submit English language proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 550 in PBT; 
  • IELTS: minimum 6.5
  • PTE: minimum 58
