    • The outcomes are of environmental exposures at the cellular or organismal level;
    • The outcomes of environmental exposures are at the level of human populations; and
    • What the societal implications are of these outcomes;
    • How to design science-based policies to address current and future environmental health challenges.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Bachelor's (or master's) degree in public health, environmental health, life sciences, physical sciences, engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Applicants with degrees in non-science majors may be considered for admission with the following preparation: one university-level course in calculus, linear algebra, or statistics; one university-level course in chemistry or equivalent; and one university-level course in biology or equivalent.
  • A GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 is required in the last two years of undergraduate coursework.
  • Submission of GRE scores is not compulsory for this program. Students may voluntarily submit GRE test scores and they will be reviewed as part of the holistic application consideration.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • The University also accepts Indian students who have completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
