Tuition Fees
All admitted doctoral students receive a fellowship that covers the cost of tuition and health insurance, and provides a stipend.
- The doctor of philosophy degree with a major in biophysics is an interdepartmental offering under the supervision of the Biophysics Graduate Degree Program.
- The biophysics degree is intended for those who wish to emphasize physical principles and methods in solving biological problems.
- By necessity, the interdisciplinary nature of biophysics generates interaction among and expands the boundaries of, traditional areas of science.
- The Biophysics Program consists of approximately 45 faculty members from 14 departments that span four colleges within the university.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed masters degree in a closely related field from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
- Applicant must completed the following: two semester of physics with calculus, calculus, organic chemistry, one semester of physical chemistry, computer sciences, statistics
- Submit a writing sample of gradaute level thesis or equivalent
- Submit three letters of recommendation
- Submit CV
- Submit a statement of purpose
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
