FDU Applications Deadline

The university admits students on a “rolling basis” for undergraduate and for graduate programs. The applicants registering for the graduate or undergraduate programs can apply by November 15 to be considered for early actions.

FDU International Undergraduate Admissions

Academic Requirement:

  • The university considers more than 18 college credits hours at an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Applicants with less than 24 credits earned are considered with advanced standing and are required to submit official transcripts from their previous institution and standardized test scores (sat/act) to the university.
  • Additionally, international transfer applicants are required to submit the test scores of English language proficiency, 2 or 3 letters of recommendation with the copy of passport, bank statements as supporting documents.

Overview:

I opted for this particular college due to their Graduate program connections. They had many joint or accelerated programs that would allow you to bypass your senior year of Undergrad. I also had lots of study abroad options. Diverse student population. Close to the city.

Scholarship:

Yes. I basically got an academic scholarship based on GPA and also googled and applied to a few smaller scholarships. The rest I covered through the federal student loan program.
