Cyber security deals with keeping the information shared through digital technology, such as online banking and shopping, secret and safe from attacks. Hackers often threaten to steal personal information; in fact, identity theft is one of the top concerns for people who utilize cyber space for business.
Skills in cyber security are valued by companies which rely on computer and digital technology. Graduates may work in various areas of information technology, including software engineering, programming and networking. The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security are examples of government agencies that are looking for skills in cyber security.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official high school transcripts, marksheets and certificates
- Official transcripts must be translated into English and should contain course by course description of high school courses
- Applicants should have completed the following at high school level: 4 credits of English, 3 credits of Maths and Social Science, 3 credits of science, 4 elective credits from areas in world business,art, design, and other academic areas
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 525 in PBT; 70 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 105
- PTE: minimum 48
