- The SJMC Broadcast Media program is designed to provide students with the fundamental elements of strategic communications, in addition to preparing them for a career in two specific advertising tracks: Account Management and Creative Advertising.
- The Advertising discipline has evolved with the changes in media, and students receive extensive training in the strategic use of digital communications and social media.
- SJMC Advertising graduates have won a number of international awards and landed positions at major multinationals and top global agencies, as well as local ad agencies based in South Florida.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Obtain a score of 1020 or higher on the redesigned SAT evidence-based reading and writing section .
- Obtain a score of 23 or higher Act.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with minimum 2.5 GPA.
- For students entering FIU as a freshman or transfer student with fewer than 60 credits
