Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive both the Bachelor of Music degree and an initial licensure from the state of New Jersey.
Students who wish to pursue P-12 teacher certification in Music must apply to and be admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all secondary school attended. Transcripts must be in English
- Submit Essay or personal statement. Students can also submit resume or list of extra curricular activities
- Submit two letters of recommendation showing your candidature for the field of study
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
English Language Proficiency Requirements:
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 70 required
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
- Pearson: minimum 48
- SAT: 480 minimum in EBRW section
- ACT: 22 minimum in English section
