Speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language and hearing scientists are all specialists trained at the graduate level to help improve the quality of life of persons with communication and swallowing disorders.

Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work in a variety of work settings, including schools and hospitals. There are an estimated 100,000 ASHA certified speech-language pathologists.?

  • Undergraduate concentration in Communication Sciences and Disorders in Health Sciences , and
  • Master of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science (concentration speech-language pathology).?

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Applicants must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Applicants must have earned a high school diploma with minimum GPA of 2.50 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
  • Submit GRE/MAT scores

  • Submit three letters of recommendation addressing school, life experiences, leadership and volunteer
  • Submit English Proficiency Test scores
