MA program in Economics is intended for students who wish to improve their knowledge of economic theory and its applications. has been designed to provide a technical and rigorous approach to the study of economic theory. At the same time, the program offers students the flexibility to take field electives in order to tailor their programs of study to their academic and professional goals.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor's degree in a related field received from an institution.
- Students must have a background in undergraduate economics is which is highly recommended (principles of economics, intermediate microeconomics, and intermediate macroeconomics)
- Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.

The following Documents are required to attend this program:
- Statement of Purpose: An essay or other written statement written by the student.
- Resume/CV: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
- Academic Documents: Submit copies of official transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended.
- Three Letter of Recommendation: Submission of Letter of Recommendation is required.
- Sample of written work: Student has to write something interesting as their sample essay in the application form.
- Statement of Interest: Reasons or intentions for pursuing studies in this program, including a description of prior experience.
- Two confidential letters of recommendation: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics and that references should submit along with the application system.
