Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Spanish] From St. John's University

Programs in Spanish offered at St. John?s University prepare graduates to read, write, and speak in Spanish, understand important aspects of Spanish civilization, and become familiar with Spanish literature. All students are encouraged to participate in summer study abroad opportunities in Argentina and Spain, where they can master linguistic, cultural, and social skills in addition to their course work. There are also internships available to students abroad and through local Spanish institutions.

Study Abroad

St. John?s University offers students opportunities to study in Spain and Argentina in the summer and fall semesters. These programs are a unique opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the Spanish and Latin American language and culture. Scholarships to study abroad are available through the Office of Global Studies.

Internships

St. John's University offers internships in Seville, Spain to students in their junior year who have completed SPA 3110 or SPA 3120. Opportunities include positions at government offices, local universities, private companies, and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs).
