- The Bachelor of Science in General Science with Teaching in Temple’s College of Science and Technology is specially designed for students majoring in natural sciences who want to pursue a career in STEM education.
- This 124-credit-hour, the interdisciplinary degree is offered through Temple’s innovative TUteach program.
- As a General Science Major, students will
- analyze, evaluate and use scientific literature in their own research.
- build a strong foundation in the traditional disciplines of science.
- develop the ability to discuss and present scientific issues that impact society.
- gain a thorough understanding of scientific methodology by studying historical and theoretical models as well as experimenting in the lab.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
- Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.
International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
