This has created a critical need for personnel with specialized training in the field.The bachelors in forensic science degree, offered through Grand Canyon University?s College of Science, Engineering and Technology, builds on a solid foundation of biology and chemistry, and provides additional training in crime scene processing, forensic photography, toxicology, human pathology, serology and forensic DNA analysis.

As a forensic science student, you will receive extensive training in the collection and analysis of forensic evidence in both lab and field settings. In addition, you learn how to evaluate mock crime scenes and how to photograph, document, collect and analyze the evidence to establish connections between the victim, suspect and crime scene. The bachelor's degree in forensic science program also provides excellent preparation for graduate work in specialized areas of forensic science.
